§ 3-3-403. CHAIRMAN.

  • (a)

    Appointment. The County Executive shall appoint a member of the Animal Hearing Board to serve as chairman for 2 years or until the expiration of the member's term on the Board, whichever period is shorter.

    (b)

    Appointments by the chairperson.

    (1)

    The chairman shall appoint a member to be:

    (i)

    Vice-chairman and serve in the chairman's absence; and

    (ii)

    Recording secretary.

    (2)

    The chairman, the vice-chairman, or, in the absence of both, another member of the Board chosen by the chairman, shall preside at all hearings of the Board.

    (c)

    Required record-keeping. The chairman shall keep or cause to be kept:

    (1)

    An attendance record of the members present at all hearings of the Board; and

    (2)

    Accurate records of all hearings of the Board.
