§ 3-3-2504. TERMS.

(a)

Term. The term of an appointed member is three years and begins on July 1.

(b)

Staggered terms. The terms of one-third of the appointed members of the Council shall end each year on June 30.

(c)

Term limits. A member who serves two consecutive full three-year terms may not be reappointed for two years after completion of those terms.

(d)

Compensation. Members of the Council shall receive no salaries but shall be reimbursed for all expenses necessarily incurred in the performance of their duties in accordance with appropriations approved by the County Council.
