§ 21-15-214. MASTER GASFITTER LICENSE.

(a)

General requirements. The Board shall issue a master gasfitter license to a person who has:

(1)

Served 2 years or more as a registered journeyman gasfitter or journeyman plumber-gasfitter;

(2)

Served under a registered master gasfitter or registered master plumber-gasfitter; and

(3)

Been qualified and approved by the Board.

(b)

Restrictions on license. The holder of a master gasfitter license having a regular place of business in the state may:

(1)

Secure permits;

(2)

Perform gasfitting; and

(3)

Employ registered journeyman gasfitters, journeyman plumber-gasfitters, and apprentices.
