§ 21-12-203. GROUNDS FOR REFUSING REGISTRATION.

  • The Department shall refuse registration of a minibike if:

    (1)

    The application contains any false or fraudulent statement;

    (2)

    The applicant has failed to furnish information or documents required by the Department;

    (3)

    Any required fee has not been paid;

    (4)

    The applicant is not entitled to registration of the minibike by law;

    (5)

    The registration of the minibike is suspended or revoked;

    (6)

    The Department has reasonable grounds to believe that:

    (i)

    The minibike is stolen; or

    (ii)

    The grant of registration would be fraud against another person; or

    (7)

    During the preceding 3-year period, any minibike registered to the applicant or on the applicant's behalf, to the applicant's parent or legal guardian, has been forfeited under this title.
