§ 19-1-204. TRAFFIC GUARDS.

(a)

In general.

(1)

Special officers may be appointed to the Department to serve as traffic guards.

(2)

The Chief of Police shall prescribe the duties and authority of the traffic guards.

(b)

Bond not required. No bond is required for the appointment of a special officer serving as a traffic guard.
