§ 19-1-205. NONSWORN EMPLOYEES.
(a)
Appointment. A nonsworn employee shall be appointed in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the code and the Personnel Rules of the Office of Human Resources.
(b)
Rules. A nonsworn employee shall comply with the rules adopted by the Chief of Police regarding attendance, conduct, training, discipline, and procedure.
(c)
Conditions of work. A nonsworn employee is a member of the county classified service for whom conditions of work, including salary, period of probation, and disciplinary actions, are governed by Article 4 of the code and the Personnel Rules.
(d)
Pensions and retirement. A nonsworn employee may be entitled to the benefits of the employees retirement system of Baltimore County" as provided for in the Code.
