§ 10-2-402. PURCHASE AND SALE - IN GENERAL.

(a)

Scope. The procedures in §§ 10-2-403 through 10-2-405 of this subtitle apply to all purchases of commodities and services under this subtitle and all sales of commodities when the estimated value exceeds $25,000.

(b)

Purchasing Agent to determine mechanism. The Purchasing Agent shall determine the appropriate mechanism to solicit bids from responsible prospective bidders.

(c)

Authority to waive bid formalities. With the approval of the County Administrative Officer, the Purchasing Agent may waive formalities in a bid as the interests of the county may require.
