§ 3-3-702. MEMBERSHIP.

  • (a)

    Composition; appointment of directors. The County Educational Foundation consists of seven directors including:

    (1)

    The chairman of the County Council, serving ex officio;

    (2)

    The president of the Board of Education, serving ex officio; and

    (3)

    Five directors elected by majority vote of the directors then serving on the Foundation.

    (b)

    Qualifications. Each director must be a resident of the county.

    (c)

    Tenure; vacancies.

    (1)

    The term of an elected director is 3 years.

    (2)

    The terms of elected directors are staggered as required by the terms in effect for elected directors of the Foundation on September 2, 2003.
