§ 3-2-1406. DUTIES.

  • (a)

    Authority over engineering questions.

    (1)

    The Director of Public Works shall have supervision over:

    (i)

    All engineering questions; and

    (ii)

    All matters connected with a public improvement in the county or a public improvement made elsewhere for the benefit of the county by the county, a department, office, bureau, board, commission, or agency of the county.

    (2)

    All plans and specifications for a public improvement shall be submitted to the Director and shall be subject to the Director's approval.

    (b)

    Role of the County Administrative Officer. The County Administrative Officer shall have full and complete authority to reverse, alter, or amend a decision of the Director.
