§ 3-11-103. ACCEPTANCE OF GIFT.

(a)

County Administrative Officer to forward gift to Council. The County Administrative Officer shall forward to the members of the County Council, the Council Secretary, and the County Auditor, a recommendation for acceptance of the gift, a copy of the letter of intent, and a copy of the department or agency summary of the gift.

(b)

County Administrative Officer may accept gift. The County Administrative Officer may accept the gift unless within 14 days after receipt of the recommendation, a member of the County Council requests in writing that the gift be presented for approval or disapproval by the County Council at a legislative meeting.
