§ 3-11-102. PROPOSED GIFT.

  • (a)

    Letter of intent.

    (1)

    A person or organization seeking to give a gift of real property, personal property, services or other in-kind gifts to the county shall file a letter of intent with the office or department that will receive the gift.

    (2)

    The letter of intent shall include:

    (i)

    The identity and contact information, including address and telephone number, of the owner of the property, services, or other in-kind gift;

    (ii)

    For a real property easement gift, the address of the property, or if unavailable, a reference to an official property map description;

    (iii)

    For personal property, services, or other in-kind gifts, a description of the property, services, or gift;

    (iv)

    The reason for making the gift to the county;

    (v)

    The date the gift shall be made;

    (vi)

    The office or department within the county that will benefit and manage the gift on behalf of the county; and

    (vii)

    The approximate value of the gift.

    (b)

    Summary of gift.

    (1)

    The office or department receiving the gift shall prepare and submit to the County Administrative Officer a summary of the gift.

    (2)

    The summary shall include the information in subsection (a) of this section.
