§ 35-2-406. PENALTIES.

  • (a)

    Criminal penalty. An owner who violates any of the provisions of this subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $500.

    (b)

    Civil penalty. In addition to any penalty provided by law, a person who violates a provision of this subtitle is subject to a civil penalty of $200 for each violation.

    (c)

    Enforcement. The Director may enforce the provisions of this subtitle in accordance with the procedure set forth in Article 3, Title 6 of the Code.
