SubTitle 4. MAINTENANCE OF INVESTMENT PROPERTY |
§ 35-2-401. DEFINITIONS.
(a)
In general. In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.
(b)
Deterioration. "Deterioration" means damage to, structural weakening of, or signs of decay on any building material of an existing structure.
(c)
Investment property. "Investment property" means an improvement on real property in the county that has:
(1)
A commercial or industrial zoning classification or use;
(2)
A residential usage from which the owner derives rental income; or
(3)
Been uninhabited for 6 months or more.
(d)
Owner.
(1)
"Owner" means a person, firm, corporation, receiver, guardian, personal representative, or trustee who alone or jointly or severally with others has legal title to investment property.
(2)
"Owner" includes an owner who does not have actual possession of the investment property.
(e)
Uninhabited. "Uninhabited" means property that has a dwelling unit that ceases to be used as a place of human habitation or for living purposes.
