§ 33-5-111. SHORELINE EROSION.

  • (a)

    Required action. The owner of any shorefront property on which there are any eroded areas or deteriorated bulkheads that, under the criteria established by the shoreline enhancement plan, has a detrimental effect on the adjacent shoreline or waterway shall, on notification, take action as required by the Department of Permits, Approvals and Inspections.

    (b)

    Type of corrective action. The required corrective action shall be performed in accordance with § 33-2-607 of this article.

    (c)

    Penalty. A person who does not comply with the requirements of the Department of Permits, Approvals and Inspections is subject to the action as provided for Subtitle 3 of this title.
