§ 32-4-116. PUBLIC BUILDINGS.

  • (a)

    "Public building" defined. In this section, "public building" means a building or a portion of a building which is:

    (1)

    Owned or constructed by the county; and

    (2)

    Used or intended to be used in whole or in part by any county bureau, office, department, or agency.

    (b)

    Notice required. If the development is exempt from Subtitle 2 of this title, the county shall give public notice of the construction of:

    (1)

    A public building; or

    (2)

    An addition to a public building.

    (c)

    Type of notice. Notice shall be given at least 30 days before the time the county requests an exemption from the development process under Subtitle 2 of this title for the construction of the public building or the construction of an addition to the public building:

    (1)

    To the County Council;

    (2)

    In a newspaper of general circulation in the county; and

    (3)

    On the county's website.

    (d)

    Content of notice. The notice in the newspaper and on the county's website shall state the name, address, and telephone number of the person or agency to be contacted for additional information concerning the development.
