§ 32-3-105. AUTHORITY OF DIRECTOR OF PERMITS, APPROVALS AND INSPECTIONS.

  • (a)

    Authority to adopt regulations and policies.

    (1)

    The Director of Permits, Approvals and Inspections may adopt policies that are:

    (i)

    Necessary and proper to carry out and enforce the provisions of this title; and

    (ii)

    Consistent with this article.

    (2)

    The Director of Permits, Approvals and Inspections shall send a copy of proposed policies to the County Council for its review.

    (3)

    The Director of Permits, Approvals and Inspections may adopt regulations under Article 3, Title 7 of the Code.

    (b)

    Publication of policies. Following adoption of any policy, the Director shall make new policies available to the County Council and the public as provided under Article 3, Title 7 of the Code.
