§ 25-3-306. RESTRICTIONS ON FRANCHISE.

(a)

Disclosure of contracts.

(1)

Contracts with and payments by and between a franchisee and its affiliates may be subject to complete disclosure to the County Council at the franchisee's principal office.

(2)

To the extent necessary to carry out its regulatory responsibilities, the County Council may inquire into the actual cost of performing services that the franchisee purchases or contracts for from an affiliate.

(b)

Conformity of ownership structure to federal rules. A franchisee's ownership structure shall conform, at all times, to rules adopted by the Federal Communications Commission.

(c)

Dividends paid according to state law. A franchisee shall pay dividends only according to state law.
