§ 25-3-211. ENFORCEMENT.

(a)

Enforcement by County Council.

(1)

(i)

The County Council shall, by resolution, adopt regulations governing the enforcement of this subtitle.

(ii)

The regulations may include civil monetary penalties.

(2)

The County Council may take any action not prohibited by federal law to enforce this subtitle and the regulations adopted under paragraph (1) of this subsection and to protect the public interest.

(b)

Telecommunications Advisory Panel.

(1)

The Telecommunications Advisory Panel shall monitor compliance with this subtitle.

(2)

(i)

A franchisee shall provide the Telecommunications Advisory Panel with quarterly reports evidencing its compliance with this subtitle.

(ii)

The franchisee shall submit the reports to the Telecommunications Advisory Panel within 30 days after the end of each quarter.
