§ 21-9-202. APPLICATION FOR A LICENSE.

  • (a)

    In general. An applicant for a license shall submit to the Clerk of the circuit court an application that complies with informational requirements and specifications required by the Clerk of the circuit court and the Director.

    (b)

    Required certificates. An applicant for a license shall include with the application:

    (1)

    A certificate from the building engineer stating that the premises in or on which the business to be licensed is to be conducted complies with all applicable state and county building laws and regulations;

    (2)

    A certificate from the zoning commissioner stating that the use of the premises in or on which the business to be licensed is to be conducted complies with all zoning laws and regulations; and

    (3)

    A certificate from the County Health Officer stating that the use of the premises in or on which the business to be licensed is to be conducted complies with all state and county public health laws and regulations.

    (c)

    Fee. The County Administrative Officer shall establish a licensee fee that is payable in full before the issuance of the license.

    (d)

    Conditions. A license issued under this section:

    (1)

    Is valid only for use on the premises designated in the application; and

    (2)

    Shall be exhibited in a conspicuous place on the premises.
