§ 21-9-201. REQUIRED; EXCEPTION.
(a)
In general. Except as otherwise provided in this title, a person shall be licensed by the Clerk of the circuit court for the county before the person may establish, maintain, conduct, or operate in the county any public entertainment, performance, or exhibition of any kind.
(b)
Exception. This section does not apply to a public entertainment, performance, or exhibition for which a permit is required under § 21-9-104 of this title.
