§ 21-9-102. OPEN-AIR THEATERS.

  • (a)

    X-rated movies. A person may not show an x-rated (persons under 17 years old not admitted) movie at an open-air theatre in a manner that the screen can be seen by nonpatrons from places open to the public or from a public highway.

    (b)

    Public nuisance. The showing of an x-rated movie in violation of subsection (a) of this section is a public nuisance.

    (c)

    Penalty.

    (1)

    A person who violates subsection (a) of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $100.

    (2)

    Each day that the operation continues in violation of subsection (a) of this section constitutes a separate offense.
