§ 21-7-301. PERMITS.
(a)
In general. Permits shall be applied for and issued as provided in this title.
(b)
Master limited electrician licensee. The holder of a master limited electrician license shall obtain an annual electrical permit from the Department before the license holder may perform or have performed any installations, alterations, or repairs on the premises of the holder.
(c)
Installations, alterations, and repairs in general. A master general or restricted electrician shall apply for a permit from the Department before making any electrical installations, alterations, or repairs.
(d)
Utility. The Department may not issue a meter cut-in certificate or temporary cut-in certificate to a utility company unless the application is made by the holder of a master general or limited electrician license.
