§ 21-7-213. SAME - QUALIFICATIONS.

  • (a)

    "Year" defined. In this section, 1 year equals at least 2,000 hours worked.

    (b)

    Minimum requirements. An applicant for a master limited electrician license shall:

    (1)

    Have been regularly and principally employed or engaged in electrical construction, maintenance, installation, and repair of all types of electrical equipment and apparatus under the supervision of a master electrician or master limited electrician for at least 5 years before applying for the license; and

    (2)

    Pass an examination provided for under this subtitle.
