§ 21-3-201. EXCEPTION.

The license and permit requirements of this subtitle do not apply to:
(1)

An ambulance from another jurisdiction operated within the county only on rare or unusual conditions;

(2)

An ambulance operated by the state or any of its political subdivisions or operated by any agency or Department of the state or its political subdivisions;

(3)

An ambulance operated by a volunteer fire, ambulance, or rescue company located in the county and approved or inspected by the County Fire Department or the Baltimore County Volunteer Fireman's Association, Inc.; or

(4)

A vehicle designed and used to transport ambulatory or wheelchair patients.
