Title 21. JUNK DEALERS AND SCRAP METAL PROCESSORS |
§ 21-21-104. LICENSE FEE; RETURN OF LICENSE.
(a)
Application fee. The Director shall charge a license application fee and a fee for each license required by this title.
(b)
Term of license. A license shall be issued for 5 years and the license fee shall be due on application for a new or renewed license.
(c)
Fee refunds.
(1)
The county may not refund a license application fee.
(2)
The county may refund a first 5-year license fee submitted with the initial application if the initial license is not granted.
(d)
Fee schedule. The County Administrative Officer shall establish a fee schedule for a license application and a license, including the renewal fee.
(e)
Return of license upon cessation of business. If a person required to be licensed under this title ceases to do business as a junk dealer or scrap metal processor, the license shall be returned to the Department on cessation of the junk or scrap metal transactions.
