§ 21-17-307. ENGAGING IN BUSINESS WITHOUT A LICENSE PROHIBITED.

A person may not solicit, offer to transport, or transport a passenger for hire in the county unless:
(1)

The person is licensed to perform taxicab services in the county under the authority of this title; and

(2)

The vehicle has been issued a permit by the State Public Service Commission to operate as a taxicab.
