§ 21-16-115. FURNISHING BAIL.

(a)

Exception . This section does not apply to a bona fide automobile club, association, or insurance company.

(b)

Prohibition . A police-initiated towing licensee may not offer to secure or provide bail or enter into any agreement, oral or written, to secure or provide bail or arrange for the providing of bail for any person whose vehicle has been towed.
