§ 21-16-108. NEW LICENSED TOWERS; TRANSFERS.

(a)

Approval - Police-initiated towing license . The Department shall issue a police-initiated towing license to an applicant who complies with the requirements of this title and any regulations adopted in accordance with this title.

(b)

Same - Trespass towing license . The Department shall approve new trespass towing licenses upon payment of the required fees, compliance with Motor Vehicle Administration, zoning, insurance, bonding and storage requirements and the requirements of this title.

(c)

Transfers .

(1)

The Department shall treat the transfer of an existing license in the same manner as a new license.

(2)

A transfer is subject to all provisions applicable to the issuance of a new license.
