§ 21-15-109. PENALTIES.
(a)
In general. Subject to subsection (b) of this section, a person who individually, collectively, or through others, constructs, erects, alters, or repairs any plumbing or gasfitting work in violation of any provision of this title, is subject to a penalty of not more than $1,000 for each violation and is subject to an additional civil penalty of $100 for each day that the violation continues after the expiration of the time fixed by the administrative authority to correct the violation.
(b)
Hearing. A person is liable for the penalty imposed under this section only after completion of the hearing procedure provided under § 21-15-223(c) of this title and the Board has found that the person has committed a violation of this title.
