§ 21-14-102. PERMIT REQUIRED; EXCEPTIONS.

  • (a)

    In general. Except as otherwise provided in this title, a person shall receive a parade permit issued by the Director before the person may engage in, participate in, aid, form, or start a parade.

    (b)

    Exception. This section does not apply to:

    (1)

    Funeral processions;

    (2)

    Students going to and from school classes or participating in educational activities if the conduct is under the immediate direction and supervision of the proper school authorities; or

    (3)

    A governmental agency acting within the scope of its functions.
