§ 19-3-103. INVESTIGATION OF APPLICANTS AND APPLICATIONS.

  • (a)

    Chief to examine applications. The Chief or the Chief's designee shall examine all applications for permits filed under this title.

    (b)

    Further investigation. The Chief or the Chief's designee may further investigate the application and applicant as the Chief considers necessary in order to determine whether:

    (1)

    The statements made in the application are true; and

    (2)

    Issuance of the permit is in the best interests of the county.
