§ 18-2-410. SCOPE OF THE PERMIT.
(a)
In general . A residential parking permit issued under this subtitle shall authorize the permittee to park a vehicle in a residential permit parking area for a period in excess of the posted time limit.
(b)
No guarantee of a space. A residential parking permit does not guarantee or reserve a parking space within the designated residential permit parking area.
(c)
Other restrictions apply. A residential parking permit does not:
(1)
Authorize the permit holder to stop, stand, or park a motor vehicle in places or during times that the stopping, standing, or parking of a motor vehicle is otherwise prohibited or set aside for specified types of vehicles; or
(2)
Exempt the permit holder from the observance of any traffic regulation other than the posted parking limit within the residential permit parking area.
