§ 18-2-408. SAME - APPLICATION.

  • (a)

    In general. An applicant for a permit shall:

    (1)

    Submit to the Department of Permits, Approvals and Inspections an application that contains information required by the Department; and

    (2)

    Pay an annual fee established by the County Administrative Officer.

    (b)

    Specific application requirements.

    (1)

    In order to verify the contents of the application, the Department of Permits, Approvals and Inspections may require an applicant to present the motor vehicle's registration and the operator's license when the applicant submits the application.

    (2)

    If the vehicle is registered at an address other than the local residence, the applicant shall provide an affidavit from the property owner, acceptable to the Department of Permits, Approvals and Inspections, showing residency within the residential parking area.

    (c)

    Vehicle sold. If the vehicle with a permit is sold, a duplicate permit will be issued, on application, at a cost of $5, on proof of sale.

    (d)

    Exemption from fee. An individual who is at least 65 years old is not required to pay a permit fee.
