§ 13-7-306. RAT HARBORAGE.

(a)

Requirement to correct.

(1)

If conditions in, under, or outside a building provide a rat harborage, the Director or the Code Official may notify the owner or occupant in writing to remove or abate the rat harborage within a specified time that may not be less than 15 days.

(2)

The Director or the Code Official may grant a written extension on the time required under this subsection.

(b)

Time for compliance. An owner or occupant who does not comply with the notice within the specified time is guilty of a misdemeanor.
