§ 13-4-305. REGULATIONS.

(a)

Authority to adopt. For the proper implementation and enforcement of this subtitle, the Director may:

(1)

Adopt and amend regulations that the Director considers proper and not inconsistent with the provisions of this subtitle; and

(2)

Enforce regulations and other provisions of this subtitle in accordance with the procedures of Subtitle 4 of this title.

(b)

Regulations for acceptance of solid waste.

(1)

The Department of Public Works shall adopt regulations for the acceptance of solid waste at its facilities.

(2)

The regulations shall include acceptable types of waste, origin of waste, quantity or size restriction, operating hours, disposal rate structure, and traffic movement.

(3)

The Department of Public Works may enforce the regulations adopted under this subsection.
