§ 10-2-308. OPEN MARKET PURCHASES.

(a)

Exemption. This section does not apply to the purchase of professional capital improvement services.

(b)

Authorized. The purchase of commodities or services estimated to be $25,000 or less may be an open market purchase not subject to Subtitle 4 of this title.

(c)

Informal bids. If practicable and if the amount of the purchase is estimated to be between $5,001 and $25,000, both inclusive, the purchasing agent shall solicit at least three informal bids on all open market purchases.
