§ 10-12-102. PURPOSES.

(a)

In general. The purpose of the Fund is to:

(1)

Mitigate potential adverse water quality impacts from development within the critical areas; and

(2)

Improve the water quality of runoff naturally occurring into the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries.

(b)

Provide funding. The Fund is established to fund the implementation of water quality protection or restoration projects including funding for capital projects administered under the county's waterway improvement program.
