Appendix A. PREFATORY PROVISIONS OF RESOLUTION AND ORDER OF THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BALTIMORE COUNTY MARCH 30, 1955

WHEREAS, the Zoning Commissioner of Baltimore County, pursuant to the power and authority vested in him by Section 366(c) of the Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore County (1948 Edition), and the laws therein codified, prepared a Preliminary Report with respect to the amendment, supplement and repeal of the Zoning Regulations and Restrictions for Baltimore County, and in accordance with the provisions of said Section published notice of public hearings thereon, and,

WHEREAS, the Zoning Commissioner of Baltimore County conducted public hearings on said Preliminary Report, and on January 18, 1955 submitted to the County Commissioners of Baltimore County his Final Report with respect to the proposed amendment, supplement and repeal of said Zoning Regulations and Restrictions, and,

WHEREAS, the County Commissioners of Baltimore County, after having received said Final Report gave at least 15 days' public notice in newspapers of general circulation throughout Baltimore County, of the place and time of a public hearing on said Final Report, and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to said public notice the County Commissioners of Baltimore County on February 5, 1955 held a public hearing thereon, and thereafter deliberated upon and considered said Final Report,

NOW, THEREFORE, it is this 30th day of March, 1955, ORDERED by the County Commissioners of Baltimore County that in order to promote the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the community the Zoning Regulations and Restrictions in effect in Baltimore County as of the date of the adoption of this Order be, and the same hereby are repealed, and it is further ORDERED that the following Zoning Regulations for Baltimore County be and they are hereby adopted and promulgated in the place and stead of the Zoning Regulations and Restrictions in effect prior to the adoption of this Order:
