§ 903. Application of this Article to departments and agencies under state law.

The provisions of this Article shall apply to the department of education and other departments and agencies created by or operating under the public general laws of this state only to the extent requested by them. In the interests, however, of promoting uniformity and of effecting maximum savings for all purchases out of county funds, the purchasing facilities of the office of budget and finance shall always be available to such departments and agencies, and their use shall be encouraged.
