of obviously misspelled words, the Charter is published as found in the 2003 Baltimore
County Code, as amended. The original adoption of the Charter was upheld in Connor v. Board of Election Supervisors
of Baltimore County, 212 Md. 379, 129A.2d 396 (1957).
PREAMBLE
We, the People of Baltimore County, in the State of Maryland, in order to obtain the
benefits of self-government and home rule, do, in accordance with the Constitution
and laws of the State of Maryland, adopt, ordain and establish as our Charter and
form of government this
