§ 7-1-407. PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF STATEMENTS - EXAMINATION BY PUBLIC.
(a)
Requirements for examination.
(1)
(i)
Except as provided in subparagraph (ii) of this paragraph, the Commission shall allow an individual to examine and copy a financial disclosure statement filed by a public official under this title.
(ii)
The Commission may not provide public access to a portion of a statement that is filed after January 1, 2019, and that includes the filer's home address that the filer has identified as the filer's home address.
(2)
The individual examining or copying the financial disclosure statement shall report his or her name, address, and the name of the public official whose financial disclosure statement is being examined.
(3)
The individual shall conduct the examination or copying in person at the Commission's office during reasonable office hours.
(b)
Notification to public official required. The Commission shall forward to the public official whose financial disclosure statement was examined or copied the information required under subsection (a)(2) of this section.
