§ 7-1-406. EXEMPTIONS AND EXCEPTIONS.

After consultation with the County Attorney, the Commission may grant an exemption from or modification of the provisions of this subtitle for a public official who is a member of a board of a state agency or a county board or commission, if the Commission finds that:

(1)

The application of this subtitle would constitute an unreasonable invasion of privacy and would reduce the availability of qualified individuals for public service; and

(2)

The exemption or modification is not contrary to the purpose of this title.
