§ 5-1-249. SAME—CUSTODIAN; DISBURSEMENT.

  • The Director of Budget and Finance shall be the custodian of the several funds set forth in §§ 5-1-252, 5-1-253, 5-1-254, and 5-1-257 of this subtitle, and the Director shall be required to give bond with such surety and for such periods and in such amount as shall be determined by the Board of Trustees. All payments from such funds shall be made by the Director or by the Director's Deputy only upon vouchers signed by two (2) persons designated by the Board of Trustees. A duly attested copy of a resolution of the Board of Trustees designating such persons and bearing on its face specimen signatures of such persons shall be filed with the Director of Budget and Finance as the Director's authority for making payments upon such vouchers. No voucher shall be drawn unless it has previously been authorized by resolution of the Board of Trustees.
