§ 3-3-802. MEMBERSHIP.

  • (a)

    Composition; appointment of members. The Electrical Administrative Board consists of five members including:

    (1)

    The Chief of the County Fire Prevention Bureau, serving ex officio;

    (2)

    The Building Engineer, serving ex officio; and

    (3)

    Three members appointed by the County Executive.

    (b)

    Qualifications.

    (1)

    Each appointed member of the Board must be a resident of the county at the time of appointment.

    (2)

    Two of the appointed members must have been actively engaged in the electrical contracting business as master general electricians in the county for at least 5 years.

    (c)

    Tenure; vacancies.

    (1)

    The County Executive shall appoint the members of the Board before January 1 every 2 years.

    (2)

    The term of an appointed member is 2 years.
