§ 3-3-1904. QUORUM; MEETINGS; COMPENSATION.

  • (a)

    Quorum.

    (1)

    A majority of the voting members of the Commission for Women is a quorum for the transaction of business.

    (2)

    An affirmative vote by a majority of the members present at a meeting where a quorum exists is sufficient for an official action of the Commission.

    (b)

    Meetings. The Commission shall meet:

    (1)

    At least once each month; and

    (2)

    As frequently as required in the judgment of the chairman to perform its duties.

    (c)

    Compensation. A member of the Commission:

    (1)

    May not receive compensation as a member of the Commission; but

    (2)

    Is entitled to reimbursement for expenses necessarily incurred, if approved by the Commission and provided for in the county operating budget.
