§ 3-3-1507. SAME - MEMBERSHIP.
(a)
Composition.
(1)
The Plumbing and Gasfitting Code Committee consists of eight members.
(2)
The eight members of the Committee shall include:
(i)
The Director of Environmental Protection and Sustainability or the Director's designee;
(ii)
A representative of the Department of Public Works;
(iii)
The Chief Plumbing Inspector of the county; and
(iv)
Five members who shall be appointed by the County Administrative Officer, including:
1.
Three master plumbers certified to do business in the county, two of whom must be members of the Plumbing and Gasfitting Board;
2.
One registered professional engineer licensed to do business in the state; and
3.
One member of the Home Builders Association, who is not a plumber.
(b)
Time of appointment. The County Administrative Officer shall appoint members to the Code Committee every 2 years or as required by vacancy.
