SubTitle 13. PERSONNEL AND SALARY ADVISORY BOARD |
§ 3-3-1302. MEMBERSHIP.
(a)
Composition; appointment of members.
(1)
The Personnel and Salary Advisory Board consists of five members.
(2)
Of the five members of the Board:
(i)
One shall be elected by the employees in the classified service; and
(ii)
Four shall be appointed by the County Executive.
(b)
Qualifications. A member of the Board appointed by the County Executive shall be a registered voter of the county.
(c)
Tenure; vacancies.
(1)
The term of a Board member is 3 years and begins on January 1.
(2)
A vacancy on the Board shall be filled, as applicable, by:
(i)
Election; or
(ii)
Appointment by the County Executive.
(d)
Elections by secret ballot. The Director of Human Resources shall conduct all elections held under this subtitle by secret ballot.
