§ 3-2-801. ESTABLISHED.

  • (a)

    Established. There is an Office of Human Resources as established in Article V of the Charter and subsection (b) of this section.

    (b)

    Transfer of functions.

    (1)

    (i)

    All activities, duties, functions, and responsibilities previously performed by the Office of Personnel are transferred to the Office of Human Resources.

    (ii)

    All authority of the Director of Personnel is transferred to the Director of Human Resources.

    (2)

    (i)

    All references to the Office of Personnel in the Charter shall be construed to refer to the Office of Human Resources.

    (ii)

    All references to the Director of Personnel in the Charter shall be construed to refer to the Director of Human Resources.

    (3)

    (i)

    The Office of Human Resources shall have all the powers and obligations of the former Office of Personnel.

    (ii)

    The Director of Human Resources shall have all the powers and obligations of the former Director of Personnel.
