§ 3-2-1202. PLANNING.
(a)
Director of Planning. The Director of Planning shall be appointed in accordance with § 522 of the Charter.
(b)
Qualifications of the director. The Director of Planning shall:
(1)
Be a college graduate; and
(2)
Have at least 10 years of experience in planning and zoning activities, at least 5 years of which have involved a position of executive responsibility.
(c)
Deputy directors of planning. There may be one or more deputy directors of planning who shall:
(1)
Be a college graduate; and
(2)
Have not less than 5 years of responsible experience in the field of planning and zoning.
(d)
Department of Planning. The Director of Planning shall administer the Department of Planning, which shall consist of the following divisions:
(1)
The Division of Community Development; and
(2)
The Division of Neighborhood Reinvestment.
