§ 35-6-109. SAME - TRANSFERS.

(a)

Notification of change of ownership. Within 15 days after a change in ownership of the dwelling unit, the new property owner shall notify the Department of the change in ownership.

(b)

Transfer. If necessary, the Department shall transfer the rental housing license for the dwelling unit to the new owner of the dwelling unit.

(c)

Expiration. The license shall expire at the same time the license was due to expire before the transfer.

(d)

No fees for transfer. A fee may not be charged for the transfer of a license.
